J Brand Houlihan Skinny Cargo Pant!
I guess the key is wearing it right and I mean R-I-G-H-T.. but how? I hope my friends would understand if they saw me in a pair...hahahahahaha.
What do you think? Who rocked it better?
Denim Jackets
I like Vanessa Simmons pink-buttoned denim jacket, cute.
Of course, not surprisingly ever-thinking-outside-the-box Rihanna (or her stylist) has to present us with an edgy spiked/crystallised/studded denim jacket
.....hmm I need those shoes! I have got to have them!
I also love this denim zip front jacket from Reiss, it is so different from the norm.
How to wear Jeans to work
Doing my daily read on Instyle.com and I came across this lovely article, had to share it with you guys. If unlike me, you are allowed Casual Fridays, well and any other day you can get away with coming into work casual, then you might love this just as much as we do ( I left most of the article the way they have it on their site, it is too good to amend). So here goes...
Get a Boyfriend Blazer
For a classic look, try upgrading a sleek pair of jeans with a structured blazer, like Sarah Jessica Parker in a black velvet number & dark denim or a bright white tuxedo design and lighter/acid-washed pair, like Gywenth Paltrow's. Think suit and match light colors with light and dark with dark.
Embrace Sequins
A bit of shimmer is an instant outfit upgrade. If you are a risk-taker (and your office is fashion-forward), try a bolder sequined piece, like Rachel Bilson's eye-popping blazer. For a more understated look, try a shimmery tank under a cropped jacket a la Rihanna.
Throw On a Cardigan
Embellished sweaters lend retro charm to a pair of jeans. Look for crafty details that will dress up denim, like Penelope Cruz's frilly ruffles or Heidi Klum's beading.
Buy a Silk Blouse
A sweet silk blouse give your jeans a feminine feel - look for tops with pretty patterns or intricate necklines. If your workplace is more formal, skip distressed denim (like Eva Longoria-Parker bootcuts) in favor of crisp pair of dark-wash jeans such as Katherine Heigi's skinnies.
Try a Little Leather Jacket
A cropped leather jacket gives a jeans-and-a-T-shirt look a luxurious spin. Just skip the heavy motorcycle jackets in favor of light, soft skins in classic colors, like gray (Nicole Kidman) or brown (Malin Akerman) or black. Add a feminine touch with accessories like a great pair of heels and a fun bag.
Look For a Chic Button-Down
A crisp button-down shirt is a no-fall piece for the office. For a streamlined appearance, tuck a light-hued blouse into matching skinny jeans like Kate Moss's and take it to the next level with chic heels and a status bag. Or, if your workplace is more laid-back, try a patterned version, like Sienna Miller's and add boots and a bright satchel.

MIH
Deciding on the brands to carry I must say it is a hard decision to make - There are way too many brands that fit like gloves, out there. Without losing any more sleep (for now), we have decided to include MiH jeans; well it is number one on our list.
Made in Heaven is a British brand from the 60s, named so because its one goal was to provide the most perfect fitting, bum enhancing, leg lengthening jeans around. Today MiH has been rebranded and revived to suit today's generation while keeping its elegance and staying true to the name. MiH Jeans come in six cuts so there is something to flatter the figure in every way and it would appeal to women of all ages- from the young fashionista who would appreciate the quirkiness of owning a pair of vintage-inspired pair of jeans to the older working women who would appreciate the classic, streamlined look that can be achieved by wearing a pair of MiH jeans, it is certainly a label that crosses all boundaries.
About MiH from people in the know:
“Fabulous cuts. Fabulous washes. Not only do they fit perfectly, but they are comfortable too. And they make your bum look great!” Arabella Greenhill, Senior Fashion Editor, Marie Claire
“I was so impressed looking at all the different styles and colours that make up MiH. Chloe has done a great job reviving the brand. It still has a cool retro style, but it also feels cleverly modern, a balance that is really hard to get right.” Lucy bond, Senior Fashion Editor, InStyle.
“High-waisted jeans elongate the body, which is great for me as I’m short. They also look more chic and polished than my regular jeans”. Amanda Ross, UK Vogue.
Current/Elliott Skinnies
Current/Elliot is all about customized vintage, breath ability matched with carefree femininity. The fit is more flattering for a woman’s body and does not sacrifice the comfort. They’re flattering in a rugged, relaxed way, while still allowing the wearer to look trendy and put together.
To be honest, Current/Elliot denim collection would make any woman commit major vices, the need to buy a pair in every single style - Gluttony. In sizes, most of their jeans run large compared to standard designer sizing and it is advised to size down one size (the joy of having a size "26" that fits so well on my size 27 waist is amazing). Alternative, if desired, you can keep your regular size to create a slouchy looser fitting jean. Either ways, their jeans are a pleasure to wear as they are extremely flattering to any figure.
Here are some of our favorite at 1511th....
Ciara, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian in the 1968 Loved Destroyed Skinny Jean - Edgy simple look. Do be careful with the rips because they really do have a mind of their own.
