Acne’s $2,000 Jeans

Yes! There is a pair of Jeans for $2,000...... As reported on Style.com, Acne is introducing new styles of made-to-order jeans for Spring, that is, yes, $2,000 a pair! The styles feature real silver hardware patches designed by buzzy London jewelry designer Husam El Odeh.

As much as we love this, (I think we do, do we?) wearing an armour-styled jeans is way too fashion forward for us. Though, I am so so sure Rihanna will be spotted in this first and soon, actually I can see Sasha Fierce of Beyonce rocking it in one of her videos ..watch this space.

Get Ripped!

Still the big-hit of Spring/Summer 2009 - Ripped Jeans. The colour, length or amount of rips are not issues to worry about, as long as you are wearing them you are on trend.

We are making a website! We are making a website?

Found a website developer that finally gets the idea of what we want and he is so eager to start his works! This still seems so surreal but yes, the website production has started and I am sure to keep you guys in the loop. This is an exciting ride I tell you, totally loving the experience.

We have our domain names registered, both 1511th.com and Fifteeneleventh.com, could not get one and leave the other, I love them so got them both. Still looking into packaging, so all suggestions gladly welcomed.

Boyfriend Jeans

This season's ultimate must-have. The key is to tailor the amount of shredding to suit your taste/personality: can be all-out edgy like Rihanna or kept simple and sophisticated like Heidi Klum.

White Jeans

One of the freshest denim trend right now is crisp white jeans. Can be worn in the summer with a floral top like Kate Bosworth or with a leather jacket and scarf for those chilly days, like Beyonce.

Boot-Cut Jeans

Eva Longoria-Parker and Penelope Cruz love the always stylish, classic boot-cut jean. The flattering cut works on all body types.

Woohoo...Denim on the Runway - During the Paris fashion week, Hussein Chalayan and J Brand showcased their second collaboration at the Hussein Chalayan Spring/Summer 2010. The collection blends the expertise of both J Brand's innovative fit, wash and fabric techniques along with Chalayan's high-concept, inventive design. They will be available to buy from December 2009.

Hussein showcased some of the J Brand/Hussein Chalayan pieces - High-rise button through knee length denim pencil skirt and a high-rise chino capri pant, both in Aspen.

"The Spring/Summer 2010 J Brand/Hussein Chalayan collection is not only capturing the momentum of the success of the Fall 2009 launch, but is also taking the collaboration to the next level." Jeff Rudes, co-founder of J Brand.

Jeans for Genes

Jeans for Genes is the national children's charity that holds the annual fundraiser Jeans for Genes Day. They help children and families affected by genetic disorders by funding support services and research into the causes and cures of these conditions.

So today 2^nd October, wear your jeans, make a donation (most workplaces take donations already, check with yours) and help children with genetic disorders. You could make a huge difference to the lives of children with genetic disorders.
